Winter in Carolingia Tarot is the fifth deck from Ukrainian artist Dmytro Ryzhak. He is famous for Bloody Tears Tarot, Fantasy Garden Tarot, City Labyrinth Tarot and Rediscovered Classic Tarot. Naturally, this deck is drawn with ballpoint pens — just like all the artist’s previous works.

The Carolingian Empire, or Carolingia, was a medieval state that flourished in the 9th century AD. Today, its former territory includes France, Germany, Italy, and other Western European countries. In essence, Carolingia represents a collective image of medieval Europe.
The "Winter in Carolingia Tarot" deck greets us with snowy landscapes and the warm medieval costumes of its characters.
